MISS CORNWALL CONTEST RAISES OVER £3,760 FOR TUKAE CHARITY  

   

 The finals of Miss Cornwall were held on Friday 12th June at the Buzios Newquay. Thirty beautiful Cornish girls from throughout the County took part in the show. Leading up to the final all thirty contestants was given a challenge by organiser Becky Chapman to raise funds for Tukae.

The top fund raiser Charlotte Holmes was crowned Miss Cornwall Charity after raising over £1100.

Amazingly for the first time ever, Charlotte Holmes, from Torpoint, Cornwall who was sponsored by Bar Mez , was also chosen as Miss Cornwall 2009 by a professional panel of judges.

Charlotte, will now compete in Miss England. Which will be held on the 19th and 20th July at the Hilton, Metropole, London. The winner of Miss England will go forward to Miss World.

Katie Helyer also from Torpoint, who was sponsored by Body Worx, won the Miss Popularity award, for receiving over 1000 text votes, Katie wins a place in the Semi-finals of Miss England 2010.
